Last week, by Friday, I was done with the world and ready to see the apocalypse happen and for everyone to die a painful fiery death.
Not that I'm being dramatic about it or anything. 💁🏽♂️
Literally me, at the end of last week.
But last weekend I had a very relaxing couple of days; I started off tragic and sad and not wanting to go the MOCA for an assignment.
I took the bus over there and I trudged tragically through the tundra that is Downtown Los Angeles and got to the place, waited in line and finally got to see the art pieces, dreading the galleries since I would have to choose one for my assignment and then!
Then I actually found myself having fun. I wandered around until the museum closed (I'll write a post about the artwork later). Afterwards, I walked around California Plaza, and hit up The Last Bookstore, and ended up hanging with my best friend for the last rest of the night.
(We went pokehunting [Yes, I still play, fuck you] and I caught like thirty Chikoritas, it was great).
(We had burgers from Ruby's; tbh, the veggie burger is bomb af and the service is amazing).
I even bought avocado socks! lmao.
My very helpful narration on Insta tbh. Obviously, I also bought a "The Flash" t-shirt. It's great. I regret nothing.
And now, I just feel so damn relaxed tbh. So relaxed, more relaxed than I've been in the last four months!
I actually feel the energy I need to face this irritating world.
It's awesome.
Anyway. This has been an update. Haha. It's an update on me not being dead!
I just want all of my three readers to understand the importance of doing you for a bit, just enjoying the moment and taking a few hours for yourself. You don't have to be as hedonistic as me, but you can chill for a bit near the fountain, buy yourself that bag of chips, get your nails done, buy a videogame, eat a slice of pizza, or take a fucking nap. Just...do something nice for yourself.
It's worth it, trust me. You're worth it. :)
