Well, it really depends on your definition of alive, but you know, I'm breathing and not dead, so I'm pretty sure that counts as alive.
Where to start? Well, I could discuss the gigantic pile of work I have been under for the last few months, due to the fact that I pledge to leave my current community college within the next year, or I could also talk about how I rarely leave my small den of books and snack wrappers due to the aforementioned work. I can also mention how I'm also trying to get my poetry to take off by entering several contests and etc. However, I'm going to stop all that and simply discuss my flavor of the month, which is Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
I know what you all are probably think: OMG ANOTHER POST ABOUT A VIDEO GAME HAVE YOU BECOME A GAMER and no. I can assure all two of you that I have not started hardcore gaming. I have, however, become addicted to this game. There's a difference, somehow. Kind of. Maybe. #Ugh
But, anyway, Animal Crossing: New Leaf is this cute little game where you become this doll-like person in this town (which you name) and become Mayor. You start collecting fruit, and fish, and bugs, and other stuff like fossils and sell them for profit and start building Public Works Projects and being nice/mean to people. Also, you sell old stuff to a recycling shop run by Motherfucking Alpacas, man! It doesn't get any better than that. It's actually a lot like The Sims, in which you're playing yourself in a town where you life, so it's very meta, except that this time, instead of having to shower and eat and shit, you get to interact with anthropomorphic animals! It's like, the jungle, if the jungle had talking ducks and was in suburbia! I absolutely love it! I have this overwhelming need to collect all the fruits, including the ever-elusive Persimmon that you must buy from this over-charging raccoon who pretends to be nice, but is actually stiffing you, the bastard.
I also want another perfect apple, because I sold the one I got at the beginning of the game. :(
Anyway, this is a really fun game if you just want to shoot the shit, which I seemed to be doing most of my spring break, so I def encourage all people to play it, if you're into this type of game. If you like The Sims, you will LOVE this. (And yes, I know I'm like, a year late to this, but hey, I bought it last October and just started playing it, please don't judge me! *cries*)
Anyway, bye!
(I swear, I won't fall of the face of the planet again, tbh!)
LOVE ME PLS.
Also, comment. :)
